Casa de las Montanas is a charming two bedroom home nestled in the quaint town of Salida. Located just across from the elementary school in a quiet neighborhood, but walking distance to the historic downtown shopping district. Each bedroom has a queen bed, and one has a sofabed as well.

Enjoy walking around the town, shopping in the downtown historic district, dining at the various restaurants in town or hiking the 14,000 mountain peaks surrounding the town.

Salida offers whitewater rating, kayaking and fishing on the Arkanas River, which runs through the town at Riverside Park.

The City offers a 9 hole golf course, just a few minutes walk from the house. There is also a new public 18 hole course in Poncha Springs, at Friend Ranch (5 miles from Salida).

In the summer, there are many weekend events such as Fibark, Art Walk, Brewers Rendezvous and several cycling races. For more info, check the calendar at the Salida Chamber of Commerce.

In the winter, there is great downhill skiing and snowboarding at Monarch Ski Resort, a twenty minute drive west of town. Come and enjoy the peaceful town of Salida. You will make memories that will last a lifetime!

Rental Rates

Rates based on 4 person occupancy. $10pp/pn for persons above occupancy. Three night minimum stay during high seasons. All stays require a $20 laundry fee (plus $5 per person over normal occupancy). Stays of two nights or less incur a one-time $60 cleaning fee. Weekly price is based on 7 nights. Applicable sales and lodging taxes apply.

Above defined seasons and rates are for pricing purposes only. House is often rented for longer than 30 days. House may or not be available for dates above. House has limited availability due to Owner occupancy.
