This log home is tucked into the tiny community of Alpine.
Just a few miles from the ghost town of St. Elmo, it is
a beautiful spot to enjoy the Chalk Creek area.
Alpenglow is a spacious and fully modern cabin located in Colorado’s Collegiate Peaks. You can enjoy the breath taking view of Mt. Antero from the deck and listen to the wind gently blow through the Aspen trees. The interior is artfully decorated – you’ll feel right at home the minute you walk in the front door.
This cabin has four bedrooms that will comfortably accommodate up to three families and fourteen people. The master bedroom, located on the main floor, has a queen sized canopy bed. The master bathroom is located immediately adjacent to the master bed room but accessible for those in the living area or kitchen.
Upstairs there are two separate bedrooms – the north side has a cozy queen and the south side has a King size bed and the best view in the cabin. Also included upstairs is a double bed great for children or single adults. A full bathroom is located upstairs accessible for all.
The lower floor has one set of bunk beds and two couches – a great spot for kids to gather, play games and sleep. This lower level also has a bathroom and standing shower. Also included at this level is a sink right next to an exterior door – a strategic spot for cleaning up after a great day of hiking and exploring the Great Rocky Mountains. There is a couch on the main floor that converts to a double bed.
But as wonderful as the bedrooms might be, you’ll be hard pressed to leave the family room and kitchen area. This one room is the focal point of the entire cabin. With all the windows in this room, you’ll feel as if you’re sitting in the middle of a snow filled forest while toasty warm next to the cast iron stove.
